Extra virgin olive oil

Is the healthiest fat on earth loaded with many antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins that is why it is considered a health, beauty and wellness elixir. Homer called it “liquid gold” and Hippocrates the “great healer” since he used it in more than 60 different treatments.

But all olive oils are good for our health?

Did you know?

According to EU Health Claim Labelling Regulation (432/2012) olive oils that contain more than 250mg of total phenols/kg (especially at least 5mg of Hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives e.g. Oleuropein complex and Tyrosol per 20g of olive oil), have a health claim indication and considered food supplements. The daily intake of 20 gr of high phenolic olive oil contributes to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress.

Polyphenol – rich Olive Oils have been found to help:

• fight premature aging

• lower blood pressure

• protect the arteries from damage

• lower bad cholesterol

• reduce the risk for type II diabetes

• prevent many types of cancer

• prevent strokes

• decrease the risk for depression and dementia

• slow the progression of Alzheimer’s up to 40%

• reduce inflammations in the body

Extra virgin olive oil is also the most healthy, natural and tasty condiment to exalt all you dishes. A good one smells and tastes like fresh aromas of nature like grass, green leaves and olives, tomato, artichoke, herbs, banana, apple, almond and many more. It has different intensities in fruity, bitter and spicy that is why only one variety in your kitchen is not enough!

Can you tell if olive oil is good or bad? If not, this tasting experience will teach you all you need to know in order to be able to evaluate olive oil, learn how to pair it with food and enjoy the most of it!

Caviar

Is the fish eggs or roe from particular species of female fish. Real caviar comes from Sturgeon.

The texture is a large part of the allure of eating caviar. The roe tends to delicately pop in your mouth when you eat caviar. The texture and popping of the eggs along with the briny fishy taste of the roe combine into a culinary experience that complements many dishes or is perfect by itself.

The benefits of caviar go far beyond flavor, texture, and the feeling of luxury, which is why caviar is so good. Caviar nutrition is a strong reason to incorporate caviar into your regular diet. Eating caviar is good for your mind and body and is less damaging to your wallet than it used to be. Start enjoying the benefits of eating caviar by ordering some today.

Source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids

One gram of caviar packs an entire day's worth of Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Caviar omega-3 fatty acids are essential for the human body to work at peak healthy. One of the few fatty acids the body can't make, humans have to get omega-3 fatty acids from food sources.

Omega-3 fatty acids help protect the body against heart disease. The Omega-3s in caviar can help protect you against stroke, heart, attacked, clogged arteries, and even more. Why take an artificial supplement when you can get an entire day's worth of omega-3's right from a delicious spoonful of caviar.

Caviar is High in Selenium

Selenium is an essential mineral that, when combined with Vitamin E, protects the body from the effects of free-radicals (oxidation). In addition, selenium supports thyroid function, which is vital to your entire endocrine system. The selenium found in caviar can support your immune system and lead to a boost in overall cell health and growth.

Caviar is High in B12

B Vitamins are essential to the function and health of the human body. B12 keeps your nervous system and red blood cells healthy. The B12 found in caviar helps the body build DNA and can prevent you from becoming weak from anemia. B 12 deficiency is common in adults. Food sources such as caviar are one of the best ways to ensure you are getting enough B12 for your body.

Caviar is rich in Vitamin D

Which is essential to boosting one’s mood during the seasonal depression. The body naturally produces vitamin D from absorbing the sun’s rays. During the winter, when sunshine is lacking, dietary vitamin D, like that from caviar, can help fight off the depressive effects of vitamin D deficiency.
